Since I have reviewed another Clinique Cheek Pop blush in Plum here, I won't bore you any more with my mad ravings about how great these are, how pigmented, how glowy, sheeny, smooth, blendable, lasting, bla, blah, blah. Instead I'll get straight to the point and introduce the new baby in my collection: Ginger.
It took me a while to decide whether to pick Ginger or Peach, but the matter resolved itself without my involvement in the decision-making process. When I arrived at Sephora, Peach was sold out and I wasn't keen on waiting for another delivery as my 20% off offer was about to expire. I'll get Peach when the next opportunity presents itself, it's such a gorgeous shade.
Ginger is actually very similar to Peach. It's as warm, but less bright. To me this seems to be a kind of muted, slightly brownish peach shade. This is the blush that you can sort of contour your face with if you don't like wearing bronzers. It seems best suited for autumn, but I can't somehow resist wearing it these days. Looks great with neutral eye make-up or more dramatic brown smokey eyes.
This blush is another great buy from the line and I'm glad there are only 4 shades altogether so getting Peach will probably complete my romance with these little beauties. I know this will sound controversial, but these are probably the best blushes in the world.
Disclaimer: I bought the product myself for my personal use and I am not affiliated with any company. I am not paid to do this review and everything I said here is my genuine opinion.
